These terms apply when you use this site to book with, buy from, or message Tim's Hair Art (81 Prospect St, Suite 215, Brooklyn, NY 11201). By creating an account or booking, you agree to them. You must be 18 or older to book, or have a parent or guardian book for you.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and give us accurate contact details so we can reach you about your appointments. You're responsible for bookings and purchases made from your account. We may close accounts used for fraud, abuse or repeated no-shows.
A booking is confirmed once your deposit (or full payment) goes through. The deposit is separate from the service price and does not come off your total. Cancel 48+ hours before your appointment and your deposit is refunded; inside 48 hours it's kept.
Prices shown when you book are what you owe for that service. Changes you ask for at the appointment, such as extra length or add-ons, may change the price. Any remaining balance is due at your appointment.
If we have to cancel or move your appointment, we'll tell you as soon as we can and refund your deposit if you can't make the new time.
Payments are processed by Square or Stripe. If you choose Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm or Cash App Pay, that provider's own terms also apply to your plan with them. Prices are in US dollars and include NYC sales tax where it applies.
Shop orders and classes are sold as described on their page. Classes are for your personal use: please don't share your access, copy or re-post the videos. If something is wrong with an order, email hello@timshair.art and we'll make it right.
Some replies to your messages are drafted by an AI assistant; you can always ask for a person. Please keep messages respectful. When you send photos or post a review, you confirm you have the right to share them and let us use them to provide the service and, for reviews, to show them on this site.
Appointment texts are covered by our Messaging Terms.
We take care with every service, but results vary with hair type and aftercare. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid for the service or purchase involved, and we aren't responsible for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and bookings already made keep the terms they were made under. These terms are governed by New York law.
Questions? Email hello@timshair.art. How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
